Six Photos of Leo

Los Angeles, California: The Big News from the City of Angels today concerns a brush fire. The Colby Fire has burned several homes about 40 miles west of Los Angeles - with the Santa Anna winds blowing the smoke southwest, back into the city. Three dudes (smoking dope around an illegal campfire) have been arrested. It is difficult to believe it is January - it was 90° at Lenny & Lisa's house today.

The view from here

DT went for a run (there was no smoke in the air in Lisa's neighborhood) this morning and then flew to Salt Lake City. David claims he was one of only two passengers on the plane not en route to the Sundance Film Festival, only because he was seated next to a gorgeous fashion model on her way to a photo shoot.

Everyone else on the plane? Sundance hipsters.

I had Leo-Duty all day. What does the CBE like to do most in the Whole Entire World?

Horsies!

Little Guy was quite amused when his trusty mare stopped for a pee break along the prescribed course.

We also went for a walk. I pushed him in the stroller, which is rare these days as Leo has pretty-much out-grown his stroller now and prefers to walk. (Pronounced wok, by the way.) He finished-off the mac & cheese croquettes for lunch, then we carried empty grocery bags around the dining table 373 times.

I finally put the darling down for a nap - he slept in the guest room with me - and the little guy slept for three hours! Could barely get him up before it was time to feed him dinner and get him to bed again.

Lisa, Lenny, Leo and I had Pasta Primavera with a cucumber salad. (I cooked.) Leo face-timed (video chatted) with DT and his Mom in the hospital in Salt Lake City. I am happy to report, Dave's Mom continues to improve every day and will be released back into the Real World in a week. Thank you all, again, ever-so-much, for your prayers and positive vibes.

Little Leo has school in the morning, so maybe I will get a little rest tomorrow.

Until my next update, I remain, your grandmotherly correspondent.
