La Quinta, California: A bit of a quiet day, as we are mostly ready for our guests, and our dinner this evening was prepped yesterday.
Dave rode his bike; I walked/jogged. Though windy, the temperatures were decent... after a little drizzle this morning.

Things are looking up! We should enjoy spectacular weather the entire week. Lots of pool time. Golf time. Cycling time.

We were able to have cocktails poolside. Lots of crackers lately? Only matzo next week.
Since our kids do not eat beef, I prepared our usual Passover brisket for just us this evening. It was super tender. Really exceptional, if I do say so myself.

Served with mashed potatoes and green beans, it was a lovely meal.

We drank the rest of the wine (2 cups requested for the brisket recipe) with dinner, and called it an early night.
Until my next update, I remain, your beefy correspondent.
