Near Hornbrook, CA: We left Eugene at 10a and pointed our caravan south on I-5. Three couples; two motorhomes. We all stopped at the Seven Feathers Casino/Truck Stop/Casino/RV Park/Casino/Spa/Casino and refueled.
After filling our tanks and emptying our wallets, we pulled the motorhomes up to a large parking area behind/above the casino truck stop and had a gourmet lunch of leftover chili from yesterday's tailgate. Living large!

After settling in, we gathered chairs down by the river and watched the world go by... well, everyone but Kathy. She saw crayfish in the river and decided to catch a few with kitchen string and a piece of sliced turkey deli meat.

We had cashews as our appetizer this evening.
We did not starve. DT and I were in charge of tonight's meal. We had three fat ribeyes (to split), did a dry rub with cocoa nibs and peppercorns and I also served my Warm Potato Salad with Arugula.

I think the meal was well-received... or I didn't cook enough food for six people. No leftovers.

Until my next update, I remain, your riverside correspondent.

RV PARK: Blue Heron RV Resort - small park, directly on the river. Front-in paved sites. Bath house. Laundry. 50/30 amp. Restaurant next door. Boat rentals. We love this park, but it is wicked expensive. $65. No cell service.
