Highway 395, snapped through the windscreen. This was our view most of the day. The roads are in horrid shape. Bouncing and clunking all day. I am fearful of opening cupboards this evening.
Woot! Yes, we are going to OCCUPY this spot for several weeks, so get used to this view.I know I will.
Magna Peregrinus will have a bath in a few days. She is coated in dirt.
No need to rush out to restock our fridge for dinner tonight. Fresh greens from Brother Steve & Gina's garden, plus red AND yellow tomatoes. Can you believe Gina is still harvesting tomatoes from the vine in December? The meal was rounded out with a bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio from Brother Billy & Ginger. The tomatoes were so firm and so sweet. Ripe throughout. Perfect! Please be very jealous.
I know I will.
Gina also gave us a huge bag of Satsuma's from their orchards and another butternut squash. Ginger gave us a big bowl of lemons from her garden. So wonderful - delicious and organic!
I will leave you this evening with a (cell phone from Lisa) photo of Little Leo, in a snuggly thing, shopping with his Mommy this afternoon.Until my next update, I remain, your "Home Sweet Home" correspondent.
