Merced, California: We spent the day with Dave's Mother. She has a small apartment a local care facility, and her four sons (and their wives) gathered to honor her today. Brother Billy baked a fantastic raisin bread pudding, and reserved the private dining room for a family brunch.
We had a photo session in the afternoon. Mom rarely allows her photo taken, but she didn't put up much of a fight today.

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day and were spoiled by your children... and grandchildren. Though I did not see My Only Child today, we celebrated last weekend, and she has sent a gift to our house - awaiting my arrival to Portland. Since she knows I can't buy clothing, purses, shoes or jewelry in 2018 - let's hope the gift box contains one of these items?
Her Momma raised her right.
