Lucy

Los Angeles, California: We have a beautiful granddaughter - Lucy - born Tuesday night. She weighs six pounds, 2 ounces and is perfect in every way.

Apologies for not updating for several days, but there just was nothing to report. Lisa felt so poorly, we just tried to keep Leo occupied to let her rest as much as possible.

There has been a lot of tower building around here

Yesterday morning, Little Lucy decided to make her appearance. Lenny and Lisa went to the hospital and we took Leo to his all-morning preschool, then kept him side-tracked all afternoon as we anxiously keep checking our phones for updates.

We took Leo to lunch, where he sat at the counter, colored, and had a Kosher dog.

Leo rode the ponies.

We went on a mule-pulled wagon ride... then a train ride.

We sent selfies back and forth

Lucy was born late evening, so Leo was up waaaaayyy past his bedtime and really did not want to go to school this morning. Who could blame him? Mother, Father and Baby are all well - and anxious to get home.

So maybe Leo didn't spend the entire morning at school... momentous family events are just too important to miss I hope he can still get into Harvard.

Isn't Lucy just the prettiest little darling?

Don't even ask why Leo is wearing a costume...

We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy granddaughter. Congratulations to Lenny and Lisa - and welcome to the world, Lovely Lucy!

Until my next update, I remain, your over-the-moon correspondent.
