Borrego Springs, California: Spending last night in the over-flow/dry-camping area of this resort has done wonders for our internet system. Why? No one knows. The gurus are pondering the reason... but for some reason our internet satellite now seems to be working perfectly. DT thinks a cable was saturated with rain/moisture and has finally dried-out due to several days of 80-degree-plus weather.
Yes, the weather in Borrego Springs has been simply outstanding.

This morning, Kathy & Woody phoned us from Arizona. They have been to Florida and back in their motorhome since the BCS game on January 10th! They asked if we were still in Borrego Springs and if they could join us for a few days! How exciting! Our RV park is still over-booked, but we found reservations for Kathy & Woody at another RV park in Borrego Springs.

Until my next update, I remain, your transient correspondent.
RV PARK: The Springs at Borrego RV Resort & Golf Course. One of our very favorite RV parks on the west coast. Sites are large and each has a nice cement patio and picnic table. Cement 50 amp pull-throughs will full service. There are also different varieties of citrus trees all over, so you will never be lacking for a cocktail garnish in the winter. Slow wifi. Fabulous warm pool and many hot tubs - all from their own hot springs! Fitness center, library, community rooms. Regulation 9-hole golf course. Recycling. Huge fenced dog park! We are paying $64 per night for a "premium" site.
