TrackTown, USA: I wasn't going to write a column tonight because I did nothing today. DT had UO Trustee meetings all morning, then drove out to fetch me and took me into The Eug for lunch at one of our favorite local chains, Cafe Yumm! for a bowl of Cafe Yumminess - brown rice, avocado, black beans, tomatoes, olives, cilantro, cheese - topped with fried tofu cubes. Super spicy and filling. $5.

One man (and his wife) showed up to wash our 45-foot-long RV. They washed (and dried) our motorhome for nearly three hours. Finally at 6p, I wandered next door to Captain Jim and Mary's RV and enjoyed cocktail hour in their beautiful new motorhome, while watching the "team" wash our bus via their front windscreen. As soon as they finished washing our motorhome, it started to rain.
Should I start a business driving to draught-stricken areas of America, having our RV washed and asking for bribes as the rain starts?
Never fails. We have our bus washed - it rains.
Dave was invited to a tour of the new $68 million fantabulous Oregon football practice facility this evening, with a dinner after at the football stadium. The guest list included famous Oregon athletes who have gone on to compete as professionals and DT who are somehow in town for the UCLA game or Trustee meetings. Or whatever.
Anyway, Dave took his trusty (300 hundred year old) iPhone and snapped a few photos of the new facility and said I could use them on my website. Honestly, I had no idea he even knew his phone had a camera - so hereyago:

Dave also enjoyed the art (graffiti?) in the parking garage of the new practice facility depicting Oregon's #1 donors, Penny & Phil Knight... along with a little Pac-12 rivalry cartooning:

Lenny hates snakes.
We head over to Autzen Stadium tomorrow to watch the Ducks v Bruins. ESPN Game Day will be on campus, and rumor has it The World's Greatest Athlete will be the guest "picker". Wonder which team Ashton Eaton will choose??? Hmmm. The game is on ESPN at 4p pacific.
Be there or be square.
Until my next update, I remain, your GO DUCKS correspondent.
