Indio, California: One of the nicest days since we have been in Indio. Hot sun; no wind. This is especially enjoyable when I see the Oregon weather report on my phone:
Yep, folks, that is Oregon weather 5-6 months of the year... which is, coincidentally, about how long we are away in the winter.
After working, exercising and preparing orders for shipment, DT and decided to visit Taqueria Gonzales (Hwy 111 & Jefferson) on the way to the post office. (I know you are shocked, but they were so nice to bring their taco truck to the RV park last week, we wanted to stop by and eat tacos say thank you.)
My Driver ordered a plain quesadilla.
And one (beef) tongue taco. Taqueria Gonzales also vend tacos made from the muscle of beef head, if you are adventurous.
Gee, guess who ordered two chicken tacos? Me. $1.59 each. I'm a pretty expensive date.If there is no update tomorrow, do not worry. I plan to win the $363-million Mega Millions California Lottery tonight. So, tomorrow I will be very busy contacting an attorney, accountant, stylist, publicist, etc... all the while trying to figure-out how to put a 50,000 square foot mansion on our little RV lot. Will our teeny boat dock be able to handle a yacht? Where will be put the helipad?

SLOGGER REPORT: Same route as yesterday, but about two minutes faster. Strange? Yesterday I listened to NPR on my headset; today I listened to music. Who knows. 4 miles/8 miles for the week.
