Canyonville, Oregon: Dave dared to use the adjoining bike path again this morning, this time traveling south. He had to turn around at a point where the bike path crossed under I-5 - due to several dudes camping under the bridge, with big dogs nearby. There isn't much a runner dislikes more than big dogs off-leash.
My Driver did see a bit slower-moving animal on the bike path:

FUNNY STORY: One of the camp hosts came by to say hello this morning while we were sitting outside. He is a big University of Oregon Duck fan, but has a friend who is a super-dooper Duck fan. Over the weekend, the camp host snapped a photo of the big "O" on the back of our RV and sent it to his friend. A moment later, his friend sent a photo of our RV back to the camp host. His friend had spotted our bus at Autzen Stadium in 2012! Famous.
Before leaving the Southern Oregon RV Park, I took a few photos of the campsites and lake. See photos of Southern Oregon RV Park here.
Our destination for the day was about 70 miles north. We are in no rush. We even stopped in a rest area along the way for lunch. We are about as quick as that turtle.
We stopped in Canyonville, filled the bus with discounted diesel, and checked-into the Seven Feathers RV Resort. We love this park. So nice, clean, pretty, friendly, with plenty to keep us busy - and a casino with restaurants if we need more stimulation.

Never mind power boxes, the rhododendrons are bloom!

After settling-in, we took a walk around the campground, which is situated on Jordan Creek, on the opposite side the freeway (I-5, exit 99 in Canyonville, Oregon) from Seven Feathers Casino - and far enough away from the interstate there is no traffic noise.

I finally remembered to make a Pimm's tonight at cocktail time. This very-British drink requires a slice of orange, a slice of lemon, a slice of cucumber, and a sprig of mint, with a few ounces of Pimm's No. 1, topped with Seven-Up (or what the Brits call "lemonade"). The finished libation should be the color of iced tea. I had planned to make the drinks on Saturday to celebrate the Royal Wedding... but we went out to dinner instead. Forgot. Just like Meghan & Harry forgot to post our invitation?

Until my next update, I remain, your "pissed on Pimm's" correspondent.
