Canyonville, Oregon: So soon, we have returned to exit 99 on I-5 to the Seven Feathers RV Resort. A great stop at a great full-service RV resort. Dave's trustee meetings finished at noon and we had asked for a late check-out at Premier RV Resort in Eugene. Premier RV Resort requested a $10 fee to accommodate our late check-out - the first time they had asked for this up-charge. We paid, but the big-rig sites were empty when we left at 1p. While Dave was away this morning, a crew came to wash our beautiful Magna Peregrinus, so we left Eugene with a shiny motorhome. Amazingly enough, it was not raining. The skies were dark and threatening, but we escaped south before our clean motorhome received a second "washing" from Mother Nature.
Before checking into to our campsite at Seven Feathers, we filled-up at their massive truck stop. Diesel was $2.67 per gallon (with our casino player card three-cent-per-gallon discount).

We rested. Relaxed. Watched a bit of the Giants lose yet another baseball game. Needlepointed. Then we caught the free shuttle down to the casino complex and tried the highly recommended (by Kathy and Woody) sushi at the (smoke free!) Steelhead Lounge. Prepared by Sam (from the Portland area) we enjoyed our dinner and chatting with the sushi chef. The selection is limited, but we were ordering sushi in the middle of nowhere, miles from an ocean. It is what it is.

The weather is improving. Maybe improving too much. Temperatures are predicted to be over 100 degrees in central California during the next week. All or nothing for us.
Until my next update, I remain, your casino correspondent.
RV Park: Seven Feathers RV Resort. One of the finest resorts we have found. Full-service sites. Back-ins and pull-throughs. Excellent bath and laundry facilities. Club house, wifi, cable TV, fitness center, walking paths, picnic tables at each site, indoor pool and spa. Great rally facilities. Small shop. Free shuttle to casino. We paid approximately $48 per night, after a 10% discount from our Good Sam card, and another 10% with a player card from the casino. Even better the (free) casino player gets us a three-cent per gallon discount on fuel purchased at the tribe-operated truck stop. There is also a little (random) discount at the casino restaurants with the player club card.
