Indio, California: Yesterday, the Motorcoach Country Club held their 2nd Annual Open House to showcase the new designs and features offered by the contractors who make dreams come true for RVers.
Though strictly regulated by resort regulations and county guidelines, it is amazing what people can conceive and build on a little RV space. The Motorcoach Country Club is constantly evolving and changing. (For instance, our shade structure was one of the first to allow a full wall on one side.) The newest shade structures seem more like houses since they have one solid wall and two glass walls (folding glass doors) and one open wall. The casita still has to be only 9x13-feet, but the covered area can be up to 400 square feet on a regular sized lot, and 600 square feet on a privacy (back-in) lot or on oversized lot (like ours).
Fantastic designs and fancy stuff was discovered as we cruised in our golf cart to tour through the open casitas yesterday - presented here, with a few comments:

Aren't people just so dang creative and have such good taste?
DT and I are thinking leather sofas and other residential furniture may not be the best choice will have to be stored in a climate-controlled facility over the summer, but other than that concern, we were super impressed with what our fellow campers have envisioned and how the contractors have fulfilled the dreams. Amazing craftsmanship!
Until my next update, I remain, your humble correspondent.
