Sunday | 21 February 2021 | La Quinta, California: One year ago, Dave and I went on a cruise to Mexico. Can you even believe it? I did write about a virus and how anyone who had been in China over the past several weeks would not be allowed to board the ship, etc. How stupid were we all one year ago? If only we knew then what we know now.
Thinking about this anniversary - the last time we traveled - I went back to re-read my blog posts from the cruise, and came upon this photo:
My hair had been cut on the 20th of February - two days before we sailed. My hair has not been cut since. Wouldn't it be fun to recreate this pose? I have the same clothing - shoes, scarf, handbag, and earrings - for the photo shoot.

My hair is ten inches longer than it was a year ago. (I straightened it with a blow dryer/curling thing for this photo.) One month after my second vaccine, I will feel confident enough to visit my hairdresser. Can't wait to get my short (care-free, time-free) curly mop back. (If left to dry naturally, these straightened tendrils resemble Roseanne Roseannadanna's. Not a good look for me.)

I can so identify with you and your hair. I usually get a haircut every six weeks and it has now been a year. I am now fully vaccinated and the first thing I did was make an appointment for a haircut on March 3rd. I can’t wait to have my normal short easy-maintenance hair do again!

I, also, like your new look but certainly understand wanting to go back to your easy care routine! I wear my hair in a pony tail for that very reason!
I luv your hair longer! Its so slimming I think and you look fantastic! Being able to put it up in a messy bun is so “in”.
