On The Road Again

TrackTown, USA: Elvis has left the building! After rushing-around for the past several weeks trying to get ourselves organized for a winter away, we began our journey this afternoon. Look forward to (or dread) near-daily posts from The Goddess over the next months.

Empty pantry in the house.

Empty fridge in the house.

Full bus.

I remind myself every year to reduce the amount of staples in our RV pantry. Every year, less is on-board... but it is still a ridiculous amount of food. If there is a Zombie Apocalypse, y'all know where to come for dinner.

We have a new mascot for our 2013-14 journey. Kathy gave us me a Halloween/Pilgrim/Witch duck to join our snowman and Hanukkah duck. We are traveling in style with our amazing posse.

We didn't get far. Two hours south of Portland, we are once again staying at thePremier RV Resort on I-5 (exit 199). They know us here.

Dave has trustee meetings this week at the University of Oregon. I will await RV repairmen and RV washers.

It's a glamorous life.

Until my next update, I remain, your on-the-road-again correspondent.

RV PARK: Premier RV Resort - I-5, exit 199. Right on the interstate, so noisy... but just a few miles from downtown Eugene, the University and Autzen Stadium. Full-service, 50 amp sites. Pull-through and front-in/lake view sites, fitness center, spa in-season, store, ice, free wifi, laundry and nice bathhouses. Friendly. Stay one week and get one night free (punch card required). We are paying around $34.
