Tucson, Arizona: DT and I are blessed to have so many wonderful friends. Old friends. New friends. Friends all over the world. So many of our friends are still from our college days and I do not need to remind you, it has been a very long time since we were in college. Last week, we visited Margaret in Bisbee and today we visited Mike in Oro Valley - both friends from the University of Oregon in the 1970's. You may remember Mike as part of our 20-person BCS game posse in Glendale on January 10th, plus he went to the Rose Bowl with us last year.
There is no need to remind me the Ducks lost both games.

Sigh.
Mike and Katie prepared a huge meal. They grilled beef ribs, pork ribs and chicken, served two potato salads, a tossed salad and baked beans. Ice cream sandwiches for dessert. No one starved.

Oh, did I forget to mention, the entire house has brick floors? How cool is that?

Another great evening on the road. Until my next update, I remain, your well-fed correspondent.
