Newport, Oregon: And so, Dear Reader, this is our last day on the Oregon Coast. Tomorrow we will point the Magna Peregrinus towards home, and since we only live 100 miles from here, I suppose we will make it home tomorrow afternoon.
We celebrated by having lunch with friends! After running on the trails in South Beach State Park (where it did not rain for about 45 whole minutes!), we drove up to Depoe Bay for lunch at Tidal Raves with Donnie, Cindy and Julie - part of our Autzen Stadium tailgating crew. Don and Cindy have a beach house a few miles from Depoe Bay and were on the coast for the week. Their daughter, Julie, was also here - along with Julie's friend, Nicole.

After lunch we went to Don and Cindy's beach house. It also sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We saw whale spouts from their patio.

A great afternoon with great friends and a perfect "last day" of our (now 84-day-long) Deja Vu All Over Again tour.
Until my next update from home, I remain, your RVing correspondent.
