Indio, California: My day of rest was spent catching-up on chores neglected due to our recent travels.
The herbs and tomatoes have yet to be planted in our "kitchen garden" pots. Today, I went to the garden shop and made the (tax free because it's food!) purchase. Then there was a track meet to watch, brunch to cook, bicycles to ride, furniture to dust and bills to pay.We stopped working late afternoon and tidied ourselves up - Katie was coming!
Kathy & Woody have returned to the Coachella Valley from Borrego Springs and their #3, Katie, flew down for the long weekend (Katie's husband had planned a guy/fishing weekend trip). They brought us a beautiful cactus garden and came before dark so DT could give Katie a drive-around tour of our RV resort in the golf cart.
We went to dinner at the clubhouse and then returned to our campsite for chocolate mousse... which was really too rich after our meals.
