This is Jackie Johnson, the CBS meteorologist in Los Angeles - in a taped February 2011 weather forecast. Is it any surprise DT is taking such interest in the weather?
Good thing too, because otherwise he wouldn't know a terrible wind storm is predicted for this evening. Awnings have been retracted, folding chairs have been put away. As soon as this column is posted, the internet and television satellite dishes on the roof will be stowed.
The winds have already started. I shot this video around 5 o'clock this evening (and discovered a visiting Green Heron down by the water).

Other than answering 467 emails, participating in two conference calls, riding the exercise bike in the fitness center, driving me to the post office, and watching The Masters (and the weather) on television, DT didn't do much of anything else.
I ran, shipped orders, filled-out more forms for the Homeowners Association at the Motorcoach Country Club, repaired a GFI issue on our boat dock light, and did all those boring/necessary chores like arrange for automatic payment of our electric bill at this RV site.
Stop yawning!
