How Brown Was My Valley

Tuesday | 20 October 2020 | La Quinta, California: First to admit, this post has nothing to do with a film about the demise of the Welsh coal mining industry, but the moniker seems to fit the ever-changing view from our veranda.

The following seven photos - snapped daily, at approximately the same time - show how quickly a gazillion gallons of water can transform a freshly scalped-then-reseeded golf course.

The course won't open for another ten days or so, and I will continue to snap photos as needed.

Until my next update, I remain, your green correspondent.
