Hiatus

Indio, California: The Bride is requesting a social media black-out for her wedding. Poor Girl has her right to privacy, as her Dear Old Mom posts too much about her private life (LEO!) constantly on the interweb.

There is probably the distinct possibility that I will be hopefully too schwasted busy over the next few days to write a column on this website anyway. I promise to write a recap after the social-media ban has been lifted by The Bride.

Trust me that DT and I have been super busy over the past few days preparing the gift bags for the hotel guest rooms and preparing the favor bags for the wedding guests. We have become expert at tying bows with ribbon and twine.

Kathy and Woody arrived last night in their RV and they came by today to admire our new casita. We all went to lunch at Tacos Gonzales and then I had a much-deserved  manicure and pedicure.

The Mother of the Bride is ready.

Leo is so proud of himself that he is walking. (Maybe Lenny is more excited?) I wish I could remember this stage with Lisa. It seems one day (in Manila, The Philippines) Lisa could not walk and then the next day she could walk. I only know that in all her first birthday photos, Lisa was walking... so we assume she walking sometime before her first birthday.

In just a few days our Darling Girl will be married to a most wonderful man. They will be surrounded with family and friends from all over the world. Dave and I are excited to celebrate this wonderful moment in our family history. I will report later with a ton of photos, but thank you for respecting our privacy for a while.
