Indio, California: While my friends and family keep posting images of their terrible weather, we continue to suffer through day-after-day of 80-degree sunshine. As I type this, a grey heron is outside the window looking for bugs in the grass, birds are chirping and a green heron is standing on the edge of the water waiting for his sushi breakfast to appear. Flowers are blooming and lemon trees are sagging with fruit.
Kathy, Woody, Brent & Crystal were coming for dinner, so I put the ingredients for the Salsa Chicken Chili in the crockpot and my work was done!
Kathy and Woody arrived late afternoon so we could give them a drive-around tour of the resort in our golf cart. They enjoyed seeing the different options of build-outs and how the structures are all the same, yet all different at the same time. We always love to show-off this gorgeous RV property - it is one-of-a-kind and the best RV resort in the world.

Friends & Family - best part of life!SLOGGER REPORT: Ta-Da! Three weeks after a beer bottle landed on the top of my foot, I was able to put on a shoe and hit the streets. I walked/jogged three miles, iced for about 30 minutes after and the foot feels just fine. I am so happy!
