Indio, California: We spent the morning with Mary & Dad - watching them in a shuffleboard tournament. Quite fun and something new to us.

We said goodbye to Mary & Dad and headed back to Indio. They are leaving on a cruise through the Panama Canal and then will spend some time in Florida before returning to Arizona. They are always busy, always active and always having fun! Bon Voyage!
One traditional stop between Yuma and Indio is the fabulously huge Cardena's Mexican Grocer in El Centro, California. We purchased a head of cauliflower, an onion, 40 key limes, 8 jalapenos, 5 bananas, 10 tomatillos, 6 avocados, 8 beefsteak tomatoes, a dozen freshly-made-in-front-of-us tortillas, one can of coconut milk (and one cookie for DT) for $13.87. I love this Mexican grocery chain. Yes, there is a branch just a few miles from our bus (but the one in El Centro is really nice).

But not before we announce the winners of our "like me on facebook and win oranges" contest! Winners are Kitty G-C., of Buckeye, Arizona and Dan W., of New York, New York. If this is you - please send an email to me - terry (at) rvgoddess.com - so we get those juicy California citrus headed your way. THANK YOU ALL FOR PLAYING and DT and I will invent another exciting contest soon!
How about a photo of that cute grandson of ours?
