Back in Indio, Again

Indio, California: Pay attention! We are now back in Indio. I am getting so confused and a little weary of living out of a suitcase, but am always happy to spend a few days with the CBE in Los Angeles. Dave did a switch-out in Salt Lake City - Gene arrived and will take Dave's Mom back to Wyoming on Thursday - and flew back to Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. We were able to watch most of both football games together and are so sorry the 49ers lost to the Pete Carroll's.

Kenjon Barner & LaMichael James

Dave's family have been behind the Niner's since forever and we are so happy Duck sprinter LaMichael James is now the punt returner for the San Francisco franchise. We also love that LaMichael's best friend is Kenjon Barner (also a sprinter for the Ducks, who is now on the Carolina Panther squad) and that Kenjon was with LaMichael in Seattle for the game yesterday.

Never mind both of these guys played football for the Ducks. My loyalties are always with the runners.

Be True to Your School, Kids!

Guess we will now have to be Bronco fans as my Brother Steve lives in Denver?

Leo was attired for the games in his RGIII jersey:

Leo's favorite thing in the whole entire wide world is to carry grocery bags, backpacks, purses, miniature suitcases - or anything that can hold anything - around and around and around and around and around and around and around the dining table or kitchen island. Do your kids/grandkids do this as well?

This activity is especially fun if wearing an apron or wearing Poindexter glasses received as a birthday party favor somewhere sometime.

Thumb sucking is optional.

Due to my foot injury, I am not wearing a pedometer, but and am pretty-sure I have walked to New York City and back (around a dining table) over the past few days in Los Angeles.

We had so much fun with our family over the past few days in Los Angeles. Lisa keeps such a pretty home and we enjoyed delicious foods and Lenny even watched Downton Abbey with me Sunday night!

The weather continues to be amazing. Many more 80-plus-degree days in our future.

Until my next update, I remain, your Indio correspondent.
