Los Angeles, California: Dave and I drove over to Los Angeles this morning to help Lenny & Lisa with Leo's school fundraiser tomorrow. Just when we thought all this was behind us, it all starts again!

We arrived to our daughter's house to find the dining room chairs re-arranged so they were all facing out the window, looking onto the street. Leo was waiting for us! Apparently the FedEx dude showed-up and Leo was so excited to open the door and started crying because it was not his Bubbe and Bubba! So sweet.
Oh, Dear Lord, please let me remember this when Leo is 14 and ignores us completely.

We arrived with cookies and dinner, and watched Leo this afternoon while his parents were at Leo's school helping to set-up for the fundraiser tomorrow. (And by "school", I mean his three-morning-a-week pre-school.) Later, everyone gathered in the kitchen for Shabbat and Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas (tonight made with green enchilada sauce). After dinner, we helped Lisa and Lenny package items for the auction/fundraiser tomorrow.

Side Note: Our housesitter says it is snowing at our house in Portland. It is snowing at My Brother's house in Denver. I didn't want to run today because it wasn't quite 60 degrees... then I saw my friend post photos of his workout on the track at the University of Oregon in several inches of snow. I laced up my NIKE's and hit the road.

Hope y'all have a great weekend and are keeping warm! If you are having interesting weather, please tell me about it in the comment section below.
SLOGGER REPORT: After not running Wednesday (really windy/lazy), I powered out a four mile run Thursday and jogged another three miles this morning before we left for LA - giving me 22 miles (so far) for the month. Keep that number in the back of your brain, because no jogging will happen this weekend while I am in Los Angeles. 22 down; 78 to go with 25 days remaining in the month.
Until my next update, I remain, your Los Angeles correspondent.
