The progress on the bathroom remodel made huge progress this week. The tile is completely finished and grouted! John Weber, of Rio Renovation, is very meticulous and has done a fabulous job on the marble tile.
So pretty! I just love the detailing around the shower and the pretty dark grey marble shower floor.
The glass shower door will be installed in a few days!
Every open-edge of marble has been rounded/beveled.
The wainscoting around the bathtub area is finished.
John went the extra step to give the finished edge a little bevel as well.
On both sides of the tub nook!But the BIG EXCITEMENT? The vanity cabinet was delivered this afternoon!
Sweet!The vanity has four drawers, two sinks and a marble top/back-splash that matches the floor. How convenient! (I am getting a little depressed that our Master Bath now looks like a Motel 6 compared to Lisa's bathroom.)
I decided on the new carpet for Lisa's bedroom/sitting room this afternoon, so everything is coming together very quickly. As soon as this project is finished - we can hit the road in our RV.
But not before we go on a few little adventures.
