Bend, Oregon: We had a quiet morning in the campground. DT and Lisa went for a run and I went for a walk with Reese. It was really hot today! Later, we drove to downtown Bend for a little window shopping and were stopped in our tracks by a massive bike parade. Not an official bike parade, mind you, but a casually-organized-on-Facebook "Freedom Ride". DT and I estimate around 1,500 riders! Lucky for us, we were stuck on a corner in front of Goody's Ice Cream Shop!

Then, it was over to my parent's house for a very traditional 4th of July BBQ and then downtown to watch the fireworks.
