48-29

Eugene, Oregon: Hello from rainy and cold Eugene. Since this was the last tailgate of the season, maybe it is about time to show what it looks like as we wait in line to enter the Autzen Stadium parking lot:

Anyone in this line needs a parking pass to enter the parking lot surround the football stadium. Everyone else has to walk to Autzen, take a shuttle bus from a satellite parking lot, or find a space in one of the few private lots in the neighborhood. The University needs more parking on game day.

Because on Game Day, everyone is a Duck Fan.

The Ducks won again! The Oregon Ducks are now 11-0. Undefeated, with one regular-season game remaining on December 4th - the Beavers of Oregon State University - our biggest rival.

At Potato Salad Stadium.

Bring it on.

Every Oregonian knows this game is the make-or-break game. Too often, it always comes down to The Civil War. Next Saturday we will learn our Bowl Game Fate.

We will worry about that tomorrow.

Today the Ducks crushed the visiting Arizona Wildcats. Well, "crushed" is a bit bold, as the Ducks came out (again) slow and we weren't sure exactly what was going on until our team decided to kick it into fourth gear in the third quarter to Win The Day.

One of DT's college teachers, Mickey Fearn, stopped by our tailgate. Mickey Fearn is now with the National Parks Service. DT, Mary and Steve took a class from Mr. Fearn at one time or another.

And look who else was here! Chris (Mary & Steve's #3) flew home from Utah for Thanksgiving. Well, I don't think roast turkey was the only reason Chris flew to Oregon. I think someone else is tugging at his heartstrings.

Isn't young love just the most wondrous thing?

Until my next update, I remain, your GO DUCKS correspondent.
