At Sea: A long sea day, but we slept so well overnight. As usual, like being rocked in a very slow cradle. The balcony door was even open much of the night, so we had restful wave sounds to add to the ambience.
Breakfast was lots of fruit - a banana is served in its peel, with a knife and fork. The balcony was in full shade this morning, so we stayed in reading and stitching before going up to the pool deck for burgers and to watch brave souls shoot down the tubular water slide. There are height and weight requirements for the slide, and no jewelry, sunglasses, phones - nor GO PROs - are allowed. Every person exiting the slide is pulling their bathing suit out of their nether regions. Too funny, but maybe painful?

Baja is sometimes visible on the port side. The photo above is as we passed Punta Eugenia. After lunch, we took a stroll through the Garden Cafe (the buffet) to see what options are available. Seems much the same as the past two times we sailed on the ship, but now they have an ice cream station, with the usual serve-yourself soft serve.
Our only chore today was to make dinner reservations for the week. Not much luck for Valentine’s Day - we will be dining late - but we did get into a few other of our favorites.
Our evening was long. An early dinner at Food Republic - the sushi/Asian-fusion place on Deck 8. We have dined here several times. It is kinda a hip spot with iPad menus. Luckily we are hip grandparents and can figure it out- many diners were completely clueless.

We also had spicy Korean chicken (it wasn’t) and made an off-menu order of tuna sushi. Japanese beer was consumed.
After dinner we went to The Social Club to watch Native American comedian, Larry Omaha. His act tonight was billed as “adult” but it wasn’t too raunchy. He did take many digs at his ex-wife, but who knows if he even has an ex-wife. The place was packed and everyone was having a very good time.
Maybe we will do something tomorrow, but probably not. Another long day at sea, but we dock in Puerto Vallarta Wednesday.
Until my next update, I remain, your floating correspondent.
