It was a lovely Shabbat at Taylor Manor. Quiet too, with no guests. No matter, I did it up just the same. As our dear friend Jean Sutter says: no guest is more important than your family. Lisa joined us, via phone, from Los Angeles. Our Grand Dawg, Reese (the cutest dog in the entire world) had surgery today to remove three small (non-cancerous) tumors removed from his hip. He was grumpy.
Anyway, it was a delicious meal. Shabbat Shalom from our kitchen to yours.
I baked a four-braid this morning
Challah: up close and personal
Avocado, buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil (from our garden) salad
Perfect roast chicken. I wish I had SMELL-O-VISION.
