Indio, California: Another beautiful day in Paradise. 82 degrees and sunny.
This afternoon the Motorcoach Country Club was hosting another "Tailgate Tuesday" - this time to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Campers were encouraged to decorate their golf carts or boats and gather behind the clubhouse for a little Mardi Gras fest.
Captain Jim and Mary took this invitation to heart and went all out decorating their golf cart for the party. I contributed a "Duck Krewe" sign for their "float".
The party was catered by our favorite corner taco shop - Tacos Gonzales. Tacos for Mardi Gras would not have been my first menu choice, but put the word "free" in front of "taco" and see how many folks line up!
Several people decorated their golf carts, but I vote Captain Jim and Mary for the win.
