Las Vegas, Nevada: Another sunny hot day in Las Vegas. We started the day with more walking and more dining. No trip to Las Vegas is complete without a visit to Mr. Buffett's Margaritaville Cafe for a cheeseburger in paradise - especially fun with Mary and Steve.
We spent the afternoon meandering our way back to the MGM Grand Hotel - miles away from Margaritaville - snapping photos all the way.
I just love Paris in the spring.
When the trees are flowering.
We made a detour to The Bellagio Hotel to see how they had decorated the sunny conservatory for the spring season.
But we had a basketball game to watch!
The cheerleaders did their job, the Ducks were ready to play and Flava Flav was in the house:
But his watch is broken and he is now 54 years old.
The Ducks led much of the game and it was a great competition. At half-time, the MGM Grand Hotel presented a short segment from their Cirque du Soleil show, Ka. Two aerial artists, holding onto rope and each other. Way up in the air. No net. (24 second video, with sound.)
The costumes were crazy.
Back to the game - Ducks win! The Pac-12 Champions will be heading to the Big Dance.
Final Score
The trophy was presented, the team cut-down the net...
The MGM Grand blew confetti all over the place.

Five very happy Ducks. It was a great long weekend in Las Vegas. We are so happy and so proud of the Duck basketball team. A marvelous win over UCLA tonight. Good luck in the tournament!
Until my next update, I remain, your victorious correspondent.
LET'S MOVE IN MARCH! I have challenged y'all to get out there, lace up your sneakers and walk or jog (or the exercise of your choice) at least 30 minutes - five or six days a week in March. I'm doing this for charity and my prominent backside.
Due to our travel schedule, I am switching-out my day of rest for tomorrow, when we will be driving back to Indio. No rest in Las Vegas. I covered three miles on our walk today and another 2.5 miles inside the MGM Grand Hotel. Very anxious to try jogging Monday, hoping a few days of "rest" will have healed whatever was bothering my knee. How's it going for you? Please comment below.
