Bridgeport, California: No idea why My Driver chose to camp here two nights. We are too far from town to bike, and unless we were fishermen/women, there wasn't a thing to do here. The campers next to us have yipping dogs that erupt any time a butterfly goes by their RV. Not enjoyable. Our view is outstanding though and we do get to watch white pelicans on the lake and tonight a black bear strolled through the campground, so there was that.
Otherwise, not so much.

We are leaving tomorrow, continuing north, but it was nice to have a day of rest. I finished my needlepoint canvas (and have another in the wings), Dave read his book. We watched the US Open and World Cup. All on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir.

The tacos were made using the taco-seasoned ground beef I used last week in the taco/smash thing. Still some left-over.
The 4L's saw Kathy & Woody again in Venice. So fun! Our kids are having a great time in Italy, and head to Florence tomorrow (or whatever-the-heck-the-day-it-is-in-Italy).

Until my next update, I remain, your lake side correspondent.
