Day of Rest (for me)

McMinnville, Oregon: Dave had a pressing engagement to golf with our broker today, so I volunteered to remain stranded alone in the RV for the entire day. (How I do suffer.) There may have been some stitching, and I looked into future campsite reservations for post-Olympic Trials travels, but the most excitement was going to the laundry room at this campground. Okay. It has been a minute since going to any sort of laundry facility of any kind except in our own home or RV, but I think I have may have landed on the caviar-and-champagne version of a laundrette?

Don't think this is normal for a RV park laundrette?

The machines are brand-new (as is the re-fashioned resort), with LG washer/dryers that use a debit-card situation (easily figured-out, even by this old gal) to operate the machines. A wash cycle was $2.25 and the delicate cycle took 40 minutes. Across from the laundrette is a very nice fitness center:

The new facility is top-notch.

Dave did not return to me until well past cocktail hour. (Do not worry, Dear Reader, I started without him.) Dave had a fun round of golf and was amazed at the hilly Lake Oswego Country Club course.

Josh: tough climb to a tee box!

I greeted My Golfer with salmon canapes (left-over salmon from my Salmon Caesar Salad yesterday at Dundee Bistro) and Chicken Katsu with sunomono salad for dinner.

We have another exciting visit planned tomorrow with Mary and Captain Jim. Stay tuned.

Until my next update, I remain, your stay-at-home Correspondent.

Campground Information: Olde Stone RV Resort (I think it is no longer the Olde Stone Village RV Resort, but I don't know). With the new facility, this campground really has it all (except for a hot tub). Full-service paved pull-through and back-in sites. Picnic tables. Trash pick-up at your site. We are paying $55.42 per night with a weekly rate.
