La Quinta, California: We all (all six of us) flew up to Portland for a weekend wedding. Mary & Steve's youngest, Cory, was marrying JR and every single member of the Family of Friends were attending. Very exciting and everyone was happy for Cory and JR to tie the knot. The wedding was held at a vineyard just southeast of Portland.
I know! So gorgeous! Cory may be a glamour girl, but she is also a state softball champ. JR was a professional athlete (6'9"). Such a perfect, happy, couple.
The ceremony was held under a gazebo and the weather was simply perfect - especially lucky as it was September... in Oregon.
Cory's sister-in-law, Laura, made the centerpieces and grew most of the flowers! JR's mother, Rose, had passed away, so Laura placed roses in all the flower arrangements in her honor - so she was with us in spirit. (I'm not crying; you are crying.) You may get a glimpse of Leo and Lenny in the above photo?

Dave, Steve and Woody were on the track team together in college. They all went on to work for the same company. They all married women from Oregon. We are all still married!
My, how we have grown:
Before heading back to the airport, we took the grandkids to the Oregon Zoo.
It was just a wonderful, happy, fun, and gorgeous weekend. Congratulations to Cory and JR and kudos to Mary and Steve for a beautiful wedding.
