Park City, Utah: Since this was our last day in Park City, we decided to play tourists and explore the downtown shopping and restaurant scene. Downtown Park City is ridiculously cute with so many fun shops - most of them local, not chains - housed in old historic buildings along a hilly Main Street. Our first stop was for brunch. Dave chose The Eating Establishment only because it was owned by Duck fan extraordinaire, Ty Burrell. DT had an omelet and I ordered the halibut tacos because the menu claimed it was their most popular item.

After not cleaning our plates (the food was really delicious, but portions were huge), we walked it off by traipsing up and down Main Street, poking our heads in a few shops. A lot of Western art and a lot of western wear, but also so many cute locally-owned boutiques and a few national brands. Bought not a thing. At the bottom of the street is something you do not find in most towns - a ski lift. Yep, Park City has a ski lift that goes right to the center of downtown!

We had a nice afternoon rest back in our RV. DT read, and I stitched.
One of the reasons we stopped in Park City on this trip was to visit the son of one of Dave's college teammates. Matthew lives in Park City with his wife, Lyndsay, and they are expecting their first baby. It was so nice to catch up! We all went to another restaurant on Main Street - the High West Saloon (the website keeps asking for my birthday to enter, so good luck). The High West Saloon is situated in an old house downtown. Our table was in what was once a bedroom. So fun. We tried all different things because their menu went everywhere. Shishito peppers, smoked trout dip, Korean fried chicken in hot honey on a waffle, Caesar Salad, tacos, and schnitzel. Seriously, like I said, everywhere - and everything was just delicious. I was too busy getting to know Lyndsay to snap any food photos.
But after dinner, back in ye olde trailer park, we found a kind stranger (RVer next to us) to snap our photo.

We hit the highway south tomorrow. May not have wifi for a day or two, so do not send out a search party.
Until my next update, I remain, your Park City correspondent.
