Park City, Utah: We had a long day of driving (260 miles), so we were up and out of Jackson by 8a. Weather was 60 degrees with sprinkles, but by the time we were an hour south on Highway 89, it was sunny. This is such a gorgeous stretch of road and one we have traveled before, following the Snake River (until she heads northwest near near Alpine, Wyoming on her way to join the Columbia near Lewiston, Idaho). Our route went in and out of Wyoming, in and out of Idaho, and finally into Utah. We saw a few (live) Pronghorn Sheep - and a dead moose on the side of the road.
Nothing but driving today, Dear Reader, so not much to write about. We stopped for fuel. We stopped at a turnout for lunch. Just before reaching our campsite, we stopped at the Whole Foods in Park City to top-off our larder. We only occupied three parking spaces in their parking lot. No one cared.

We are going to rest here for a few days and take advantage of good cell service, golf and see friends, before heading once again into nature.
My Driver required low-key (no jalapeno) food tonight. I had quite a bit of odds-and-ends of shredded/not shredded cheeses, so made him a bit of mac & cheese. And a Caesar Salad, as this week is the 100th Anniversary of the Caesar Salad.

The MLB Home Run Derby is on our television.
Until my next update, I remain, your sleepy correspondent.
