Ibiza, Spain: Our last day, and it was to Ibiza - where we had visited on our first 10-day leg of this trip. Since we no longer felt the need to climb to the top of the castle, we left the ship late, did a little souvenir shopping and had a leisurely lunch. We just wanted to get in a nice walk in the sunshine. The weather was glorious - just like the first time we visited Ibiza. And while Ibiza is beautiful, it is known for its nightlife and beach clubs, and is very expensive compared to Barcelona, Madrid, or any of the other Spanish towns we have visited.

We settled on a cafe with a shady terrace under a gorgeous flowering tree. It is Saturday, so everyone was out and about. Musicians and dancers were performing on a stage set up in the main town square.

We packed our bags after returning to the ship, and organized ourselves to disembark in Barcelona tomorrow morning. We will spend one night in Spain before flying back to Los Angeles Monday morning.
This will be my last post from our vacay, celebrating Dave's 70th. It certainly has been fun and we have visited so many places we have never visited before - like North Africa - and several places we have been to before. It's all good, all interesting, and good to learn new things and meet new people.
There will be a ship review a few days after we return home. And would you believe we are heading out in our RV in just a few weeks?
Until my next update, I remain, your sailing correspondent.
