Indio, California: A lazy Sunday. So nice and relaxing. After looking through the paper and drinking a pot of coffee, we headed out to run on soft, sandy trails in La Quinta. It was sunny and warm and we did not need to wear jackets on our runs this morning. Yeah!Trails in La Quinta
If you felt an earthquake this morning, it was just me plodding down this dusty trail.New Seasons Market that I had marinated in olive oil, garlic and rosemary - frozen and sealed with my fabiola vacuum-sealer machine at home. DT grilled the chops while I roasted butternut squash in the oven and made a green salad. Delicious, nutritious and colorful. Roasted butternut squash: Garlic. Olive oil. Salt. Pepper. Heaven. Dang, if that wasn't a great combination.
