We drove Highway 34 over the coast range, stopping to make a sandwich at the elk observation turn-out near Reedsport, Oregon.We saw at least eighty Roosevelt Elk on the approach to the viewing platform, but only two elk were near the vista point (and they were too far away for photography). Still, a beautiful foggy scene.
On the way to our destination, we listened to the Washington Redskin v Denver Bronco game on the radio. Lenny was texting me about Washington. My brother was texting me from Denver about the Broncos. We had ourselves a little family rivalry today, and I was the referee. Which made for two very surprised people, when the manager of the RV park knocked on the door of our RV. There he was in Bronco gear; there I was in Redskin gear. Too funny!
