Indio, California: My Dad's sister is in town for a few days, with her husband, enjoying the Coachella Valley weather. They met us for dinner tonight at Don Diego's Mexican Restaurant (website has music) in Indian Wells.
My Aunt and Uncle have six children - all wonderful cousins to me - a zillion grandkids and even a few greats now! They own a big Christmas tree farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley. After the holiday season, they point their motorhome south!The restaurant was hosting a special event on their outdoor patio - Yappy Hour - where you could have a cocktail with your pals and bring your dog along. An agency had adoptable dogs on display, vendors were selling pet accessories and the patio was a yippy little madhouse. The event was very well attended.
We dined indoors!
We had good food and margaritas at Don Diego's, but mostly we just talked and talked and talked!

Lisa reported Leo ate the top of the hamburger bun and the apple slices, the fries fell on the floor and were snubbed by Reese the Dawg.Experiment over.
