Los Angeles, California: Lisa and Lenny were up and out of the house early this morning to exercise, so Bubba and I were on Leo Duty. The Little Lord requested “Toast Nutella” for breakfast. As I handed the bread to Leo, I felt a bit of a deja vu. Sometimes Leo resembles Lenny, other times he resembles our nephew. Often we see Lenn’s brother and Lenn’s Dad. But sometimes he looks so much like his Momma when she was the same age. This morning was one of those times.
Blew My Mind.
Lisa and Leo (age 3-ish)
We can put a man on the moon. We can video-chat via mobile phone to people across the planet. Why isn’t there a way to time-freeze age 3?
Best. Age. Ever.
Plastic animal figurines were displayed in several situations this morning – this example required stairs:
Very serious engineering occurred this morning in Los Angeles:
If you have kids or grandkids and are looking for a fun and unique gift (that you will enjoy playing with as well!), may I suggest Magna Tiles? The tiles have magnetic edges, making for an intriguing building set. I don’t know where/how Lisa finds these fun toys for Leo, but the triangles and squares simply click together, creating ever-changing super-intriguing structures. Leo and Bubba (and I) spent hours forming “architectural” designs over the past few days.
Leo had his swim lesson this morning. Still not interested in grabbing the edge of the pool. Very good of diving for things on the bottom of the pool.
We checked-off the last few things on Lisa’s to-do list. Baby Girl will arrive to an organized home. We were rewarded with delicious pizza from Tomato Pie. Such good pizza – completely worth the trip.
Until my next update, I remain, your tired correspondent.
